HOWL Festival Parade

August 27, 2005 · Posted in History

East Village, Manhattan.  This fest celebrates the vibrant artistic culture of the neighborhood, especially hardworking independent artists of all mediums. We marched in the procession from Cooper Union to Tompkins Square, where performances, foods, and art took place all day. Then we ate free ice cream, played more music, and let some children play our instruments so that we could eat more ice cream.
