RMO at Clearwater Festival

RMO carries on very much in the tradition of Pete and Woody, and this June, we get to connect with those roots at our first appearance at Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival. It’s the first tour stop on our way to Detroit for the 2010 US Social Forum.

The annual festival, inspired by Pete Seeger’s desire to clean up the Hudson over forty years ago, brings people together to honor the river through songs, education and action. It’s a fundraiser for Clearwater’s work toward environmental and social justice – as well as keeping the Sloop Clearwater afloat!

RMO has a concert/workshop at 2:30pm at the Sloop Stage, and at 5:20pm will start a roving set by the World Dance Stage.
