Second Helpings, originally uploaded by Goodlifer.

On Saturday, May 2nd, RMO brought sparkle and music to the Brooklyn Food Conference. The conference brought together food justice activists, farmers, students, policy makers and, well, anyone who eats food, really, to connect and to learn how to bring more good clean & healthy food into our neighborhoods. The RMO marched through the streets – and through a farmers market too – accompanied by giant puppets and volunteers who passed out flyers inviting passersby to the free, food-filled event.

More info can be found at brooklynfoodconference.org. There are a lot of great resources there, as well as some videos of conference speakers.
