Clinic Defense with Brooklyn Pro-Choice Network

In what has become an annual engagement, we teamed up with the Brooklyn Pro-Choice Network to provide a counter-presence to the “Helpers of God’s Precious Infants” yearly gathering to pray for legislature to save women from the ability to make informed decisions about their own reproductive health. The clinic has grown wise to the HOGPI and encourages patients to avoid visiting on this particular day. Nonetheless, we successfully drowned out the anti-choicers’ attempts at self-congratulatory piety by trading songs with the inimitable Church Ladies for Choice. With the lyrics of Crazy in Love changed to “Roe V. Wade is here to stay, why don’t you all just go away” followed by a rousing chorus of “This Womb is My Womb”, the HOGPIs were seen scolding their dragged-along children not to have such a good time! They even uploaded this sweet video of us to the YouTube; looks like even the Christians got homocrushes on the RMO…
