The City Reliquary’s 2nd Annual September Tribute to Our City

Havemeyer and Grand Street, Williamsburg

This little patch of Brooklyn was closed to traffic and open to food (including smoothies made by a bike-powered blender), music, humans and dogs. After a great performance by Circus Contraption, who made us all do some weird elephant dance, we played for great neighbor children + adults. It was great to spend the anniversary of a tragic event doing something positive to celebrate community.

Liz’s roof in Washington Heights, Manhattan: Dance party on Liz’s roof, with a fabulous glittery view of the George Washington Bridge and New Jersey. There was a beautiful view, and beautiful music until the recently-anointed Trumpet Monkey played so loudly the cops came.

We raised funds for the Louisiana Domestic Violence Victim’s Hurricane Relief Fund, which is a
project of the Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence
